We invite you to the 68th Elefantentreffen from 29.01. to 1.2.2026

Because of the snow reliability we are in Thurmansbang in the Bavarian Forest, north of Passau. For over 35 years, motorcyclists have been welcomed here and celebrate a peaceful winter weekend in the forest.

Even after more than 60 years, we remain true to our tradition and offer an incomparable experience for all motorcyclists. The special atmosphere is provided by the participants from all parts of Europe and the world. Around the campfires in the snowy basin, the most diverse languages can be heard and yet everyone understands each other and celebrates peacefully together. There are no differences here, no matter which nation, which profession, which age or which motorcycle. It goes without saying that the Elefantentreffen does not need a marquee with live music or other animations.

At least once in a lifetime, every real motorcyclist must have been to the original Elefantentreffen. Most of those who have ever experienced the incomparable atmosphere are happy to come back.

Es gives trophies for the most beautiful self-made, the longest journey and the oldest and youngest participant.

Since it is a pure motorcycle meeting, cars and quads are excluded. Arrival and participation only for motorcycles with two or three wheels. This includes trikes based on a motorcycle.

back 4 future 2.0, new regulations for Elefantentreffen in 2026

The rules will be tightened for Elefantentreffen 2026: Participants will be able to access the grounds from the Monday of the event week. From this point on, the BVDM will begin its setup work. The road traffic regulations apply on the access road and in the meeting area, with helmets mandatory, a maximum speed of 7 km/h, and a ban on alcohol for drivers: Don't Drink and Drive! To drive Motorbike is only permitted for arrival and departure. All other journeys in the meeting area are prohibited. Engines may not be started between midnight and 7 a.m., and a strict night-time quiet period must be observed. During the Elefantentreffen, unnecessary engine revving and misfiring are prohibited. The use of fireworks and rockets is also prohibited.

The entrance fee is 40,-€, BVDM and FEMA members pay 30,-€. Tickets will only be sold at the event box office on site.
