What to expect at the end of July Germany: Impression

Ferropolis is an industrial museum and event venue in Gräfenhainichen on a peninsula in the Gremminer See, the former Golpa-Nord open-cast mine. Ferropolis is an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Culture and a unique and completed event site. Its most striking feature is five huge excavators. Many things are possible here, including a beach party.
Ferropolis is located in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt in the triangle formed by the cities of (in alphabetical order) Bitterfeld-Wolfen/Dessau-Roßlau/Lutherstadt-Wittenberg

Bitterfeld-Wolfen, the "Green Industrial Town on Lake Goitzsche". Centre of the chemical industry and open-cast mining. In recent decades, it has shown impressively how to remove industrial legacies and renaturalise landscapes and make them liveable. It is home to the largest landscape art project in the world (Goitzsche Landscape Park) as well as a unique industrial and film museum.
Dessau-Roßlau combines four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bauhaus and Wörlitz Garden Realm surrounded by the UNESCO Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve. Since 2016, it also has a World Document Heritage Site, a student transcript of Luther's Lecture on the Letter to the Romans. Dessau-Roßlau is a trading town over 900 years old with many sights.
Lutherstadt-Wittenberg is a trading town in the centre of Germany that is over 1000 years old. Several buildings in the well-preserved old town are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was here that the Reformation movement, which led to the division of Western Christianity into different denominations, began when Martin Luther's 95 Theses were posted on the entrance portal of Wittenberg Castle Church in 1517.
What will be new at the 75th FIM Rally 2022:
For more than two years, Covid 19 has held the world in its grip. We will have to check your Corona status and reserve the right to admit only 2G participants (recovered or vaccinated). We also reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice if the Covid 19 rules in force in Germany and the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt at the time of the meeting do not allow the event to take place. As the saying goes "All good things come in threes" Twice the 75th FIM Rally has already had to be cancelled due to Corona. We are optimistic that it can take place at the third attempt. That is why we are planning the evening programme as an outdoor event to keep the risk of transmission low and will take precautions against rain.

"Back to the Roots" is the motto under which the BVDM brought the Elephant Meeting back to its roots a few years ago. A motorbike meeting in January, in ice and snow, with several thousand motorcyclists from Europe - without a programme. The motorcycling, meeting, experience and exchange count. The BVDM will not be a "tour operator" that transports all participants by bus.
The FIM, the DMSB and especially the BVDM and Ferropolis are looking forward to welcoming you to the 75th FIM Rally 2022 in Ferropolis/Germany. In order to be able to realise this, we need your binding registration by 30.04.2022. As all active members of the BVDM work on a voluntary basis, we also reserve the right to cancel the 75th FIM Rally if the national member organisations (FMN) have not notified the FIM of at least 800 registered participants by 30.04.22. This means that you will not be able to cancel your registration. So that you don't miss the registration opportunity, subscribe to the newsletter:Newsletter and register by 30.04.2022!

Welcome to the 75. FIM-Rally in Germany

FIM rally 2022 in Germany

The FIM rally is an international meeting of motorcyclists with 1000-1500 participants from 25-30 different countries.

The aim is to establish contacts between the bikers and to spread the culture and traditions of the host country through performances, guided tours, food and more.

But the FIM rally is also a kind of world championship in touring, a fun, enjoyable motorcycle event with lots of nice people.

The rally is held every year in different countries and in the summer of 2022, the oldest German motorcycle association, BVDM e.V., will host the 75th FIM rally.

The rally will take place from July 27th to 29 th, 2022 in "Ferropolis" and will be an unforgettable event.

This year's organizer, Bundesverband der Motorradfahrer e.V., which has existed since 1958, organizes the "Elephant Meeting" every year.

The largest and oldest international winter meeting for motorcyclists in the world. Every year with more than 4000 participants from all over Europe.

For the BVDM e.V., the organization of the FIM Rally is new territory, but with our numerous helpers, we will certainly master this outstandingly.

With Michael Weiss we have a strong man by our side who was already very active in organizing the rally.

More information will follow soon on these pages.
